Mangali (25 October 2006) - Mangali and Saraswati were born into the home of a deaf and mute mother and father. When the mother suffered a seizure and fell into the cooking fire, the father did not hear her cries for help and she died. Because of his disabilities the father is unable to to care for the children. Mangali and her sister, Saraswati, were placed in the home by the Ministry of Women, Children & Social Welfare and are thriving with the consistent love, care and education they are receiving. Mangali loves the color red. She also enjoys eating rice and curry. In school, her favorite class is English and she is a quick learner. Her goal in life is to be a medical doctor and she is currently in 1st grade.
